Dr. Valerie Stavro

Dr. Valerie Stavro is a graduate of the University of Toronto, Bachelor of Science in Nursing and Doctor of Dental Surgery. In addition she completed a post-graduate year at the Toronto Hospital, focusing on medically compromised dental patients.

Dr. Stavro teaches part-time at the University of Toronto, Faculty of Dentistry. She is a member at the Canadian Dental Association, the Ontario Dental Association, The Royal College of Dental Surgeons. As a past President of the Alumni Association, she actively supports activities at the University of Toronto.

Celebrating over 30-years of dental practice experience in Toronto, Dr. Stavro shares her facination for laser and computerized dentistry with her husband and colleague, Dr. Stephen Andrews. Dr. Stavro is passionate about raquet sports and the Arts in Toronto, and is a supporter of the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation.

In addition, an Arbor Award was presented to Dr. Stavro for her outstanding volunteer service at the University of Toronto.

Dr. Stavro was recently inducted as a fellow of the International College of Dentists (ICD) for service, leadership, professional excellence, and integrity. Other fellowships include, The Academy of Dentistry International, Pierre Fauchard Academy and The International Congress of Oral Implantologists.
